Continue the number sequences by writing the next three terms.

Problem 1 :

0.1, 0.2, 0.3 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

added by +0.1

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6,...

 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 …

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

added by +0.2

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

added by +0.02

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

0.05, 0.06, 0.07 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

added by +0.01

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, 0.10,...

 5.2, 5.1, 5.0 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

subtracted by -0.1

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

5.2, 5.1, 5.0, 4.9, 4.8, 4.7,...

0.11, 0.22, 0.33 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

added by +0.11

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

0.11, 0.22, 0.33, 0.44, 0.55, 0.66,...

Problem 7 :

7.4, 7.2, 7.0 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

subtracted by -0.2

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

7.4, 7.2, 7.0, 6.8, 6.6, 6.4,...

3.2, 2.8, 2.4 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

subtracted by -0.4

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

3.2, 2.8, 2.4, 2.0, 1.6, 1.2,...

Problem 9 :

0.6, 0.55, 0.5 …

Solution :

By observing the sequence above, every term is 

subtracted by -0.05

to get the next term of the sequence.

So, the next three terms are

0.6, 0.55, 0.5, 0.45, 0.4, 0.35,...

Solution :

82.356

The digit at the tenth place is 3. Option c is correct.

Solution :

The smallest number in the ones place is 3. So, 3.5 is the smallest number in all.

07 is lesser than 70, so 7.07 < 7.70

c) 0.00876 _____ 0.0786

Comparing numbers at the hundredth place 0 and 7. 7 is  greater than 0, then 

0.00876 < 0.0786

d) 0.229 ____ 0.292

We have like decimals, comparing 22 and 29. 29 is greater than 22.

0.229 < 0.292

e)  0.47 ____ 0.5

0.47 is lesser than 0.50, then 0.47 < 0.50

f)   21.101 _____ 21.011

21.101 is greater than 21.011

21.101 > 21.011

g)  0.746 ____ 0.467

0.74 is greater than 0.46. Then 0.746 > 0.467

h)  0.076 ____ 67/100

Converting 67/100 as decimal, we get 0.67. Now comparing 0.076 and 0.67, 0.076 is lesser than 0.076.

i)  0.306 ____ 0.603

0.306 is lesser than 0.603. Then 0.306 < 0.603
