FRAMING DECIMALS FROM WORDS

Numbers like 0:37 and 4:569 are called decimal numbers. We use them to represent numbers between the whole numbers.

The decimal point or dot separates the whole number part to
the left of the dot, from the fractional part to the right of the dot.
